Tai Chi With James Sutton

Program Description: Tai Chi is a martial art and exercise for overall well-being and conditioning incorporating dynamic movement that improves energy flow throughout the body. Tai Chi helps to ease tension, enhance awareness, and improve balance and strength. This class will focus on the Chen style and various Qi (energy) enhancing exercises. PopUp Cardio/Toning Workout with Katie Corley

Days: Tuesdays
Time: 8:30am-9:30am
Location:  Clubhouse
Cost: $10 paid to Katie

Program Description: PopUp Workout is an hour long, full body workout that will challenge your body and deliver real results. Each class incorporates cardio and toning intervals that are focused on strengthening and lengthening all of the muscles in your body. Compound movements using light weights, resistance bands, balls, and gliders work both small and large muscle groups to fatigue. Cardio bursts keep the heart rate up for maximum calorie burn. Finish off with a great stretch and you will leave energized for the rest of your day. Iyengar Yoga level 1 with Gillian

Day: Tuesdays, Thursdays Saturdays

Program Description: This class is appropriate for individuals who have taken our intro to yoga class or have basic yoga experience. You will learn more about the fundamentals of postures. Iyengar Yoga Level 2 with Gillian

Program Description: This is Gillian’s most advanced Yoga class at the Farm and it is recommended that participants take the first two levels before joining the level 2 class and/or have prior yoga experience.  Gillian is a certified Iyengar yoga teacher. Gillian uses props, such as belts, blocks, and straps as aids to help participants into asanas (poses) one step at a time. Kids Finding Balance After School Yoga Class with KIT

Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:45pm-4:45pm (after camp)

Cost: $50 for 4 classes or $15 drop in (24 hour notice for drop-ins) paid directly to instructor on the first day of class.

Program Description:  Yoga benefits children in many ways. It not only helps connect our body and minds but builds confidence and respect inside and out. Yoga helps to improve strength, balance, and flexibility as well as enhance concentration and mindfulness. Let your child explore how downward facing dog, warrior, crow, and happy baby can be an important part of their life for a lifetime! PM Zumba with Carly

Program Description:  Let’s Zumba together and move to the rhythm! In this class we will be moving to different tunes from different countries of the world and all of this to great music that makes you unaware of the effort you are exerting and the number of calories you are burning. Zumba takes the “work” out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you’ll see why Zumba fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise.  No sign up necessary. Please just come and join in!


Farm Water Conditioning and Aerobics

Program Description:  Water Conditioning & Aerobics is a great workout and helps to build overall cardio & body strength without taxing joints. We will use a variety of techniques and water equipment that will help with overall conditioning, stretch, flexibility and balance while in the water. We hope that you will come out and give it a try! Classes will meet in the lower pool. No signup necessary but we would like to know if there is interest!
