Colee Schroeder

[email protected]

Head Pickleball Pro

Colee is no stranger to The Farm. She spent many summers teaching tennis at Farm Camp and took lessons from her father, Howard Schroeder, who was the Tennis Director at The Farm from 1987 to 2001. Colee recently returned to Chapel Hill, after being away for over 14 years, to raise her young son, Charlie.

Prior to moving back to NC, Colee worked for the USTA in Orlando, FL at the USTA National Campus. As Senior Marketing Manager for Adult Tennis, Colee was responsible for promoting USTA League, Adult National Tournaments, and Tennis on Campus, among other activities.

Colee has been playing pickleball for over five years and is both a Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR) Certified Pro and an International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association (IPTPA) Level II Pro.

Kaylen Alexis

Assistant Pickleball Pro

Kaylen grew up a member of The Farm and looks back fondly on long summer nights spent poolside. He credits The Farm with not only teaching him how to swim, but for cultivating a deep love of racket sports via tennis lessons with Nate and ping pong with his friends (Kaylen won the annual July 4th Table Tennis Tournament in 2010, something he still brings up to anyone who will listen). In 2019, Kaylen discovered pickleball and has been addicted ever since.

Now, Kaylen is thrilled to return to his old stomping grounds as The Farm’s newest pickleball coach. He has been coaching pickleball in North Carolina for two years and is a 5.0-rated player. In particular, he enjoys the cerebral aspects of the game and cannot wait to share his experience with The Farm community.

When he’s not playing or coaching pickleball, Kaylen grudgingly finds time for his law school homework.
