Clay grew up playing tennis at The Farm as his home club and has worked multiple jobs at The Farm. Clay learned tennis through his father who is also a member at The Farm and can be seen playing tennis and tending to his plants in the garden at the Farm.
He played at East Chapel Hill High School in both singles and doubles. He went to the University of South Carolina and played club tennis during his time in college. Clay taught tennis in high school and is happy to be back teaching at the Farm. Besides tennis he loves to spend time playing golf and traveling.
