The Farm offers a variety of fitness classes to support your fitness goals including yoga, tai chi, water exercise, strength training, and more. All fitness classes require pre-registration on CourtReserve. Please email your class instructor with any questions.

Yoga for Racquet Sports with Anne Rea

3:00 – 4:00PM

Serve up a better game and stay in top form with Yoga for Racquet Sports! This class uses a functional movement approach to address the unique physical demands and common muscle imbalances associated with sports that involve repetitive, one-sided, and dynamic movements.

We will focus on building core strength, crucial for stability and generating power in your shots, and improving hip and shoulder mobility to enhance your range of motion and agility on the court. Expect a blend of strengthening poses and deep stretches designed to:

  • Enhance Balance & Agility
  • Prevent Common Injuries
  • Increase Power & Flexibility
  • Sharpen Mental Focus
  • Aid Faster Recovery

Whether you’re a seasoned player or just getting started, this class will help you move better, feel better, and play your best for many years to come. All levels are welcome, no prior yoga experience is necessary!

Total Body Conditioning with Lauren Herman

6:00 – 7:00 PM

Join Lauren for an energetic, total body conditioning class focused on strength and endurance. This class is designed for all fitness levels, from beginners to experienced exercisers. Lauren will provide modifications for every exercise to match your individual needs.

Don’t hesitate to try this class! Just bring a mat, towel, water, and a willingness to improve your fitness. We’ll provide dumbbells and resistance bands.

Iyengar Yoga with Carolyn Leech

10:00 – 11:15 AM

Iyengar yoga is a practice that can improve your life by focusing on the connection between your mind, body, and spirit. The use of props in this practice makes Iyengar yoga accessible to all levels, from beginners to experienced practitioners.

Iyengar yoga uses proper body alignment to build strength, stamina, flexibility, and balance while promoting concentration and meditation.

Level I/II with Anne Rea

This class is for students who have some experience with basic yoga poses and alignment and are looking to deepen their practice, explore more challenging poses while building strength and flexibility.
