Before joining The Farm as a tennis pro in 2025, Smith started playing tennis at the age of 5. Native to Winston-Salem, he was the captain of his varsity tennis team at Mount Tabor High School from his freshman year onward. As an avid lover of the game, Smith was a ball person at the Winston-Salem Open for six years where he was able to see many of the world’s best players up close while he studied all of the different stroke mechanics and strategies.
After graduating with his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Political Science at Appalachian State University, Smith recently relocated to Chapel Hill and is thrilled to be a part of the team at The Farm.
